Each summer families are sent passwords in advance of Opening Day to view our camp photo galleries. Please reach out to our camp office to troubleshoot any issues.

Photo Philosophy

At Becket-Chimney Corners, we deliberately limit the use of technology in our programs so that we can focus on face-to-face relationships and community building. We limit the number of images shared throughout the summer so that campers have the space to fully embrace their independence and create their own unique experiences without feeling the pressure of constant external observation.

Rest assured! As many of us are parents ourselves, we fully understand the desire to see more images of your child during their time at camp. Whether your child spent a week in our Day Camp or a month in our overnight camps, photos are a way for parents to feel connected to their child’s experience. We understand the importance of keeping parents informed and engaged throughout the summer because while this is primarily your child’s experience, you are a big part of it!

Each summer, we set up password-protected accounts with Smug Mug where we share 100+ photos/week. Our goal is not to document each camper’s individual experience at camp, but rather the experience of the collective community in our programs. In addition, you’ll get weekly updates from the Camp Director about the happenings at camp and all new families can expect a phone call with their child’s counselor in the first week of camp. Families are always welcome to reach out with questions or concerns and we will do the same as we care for your children.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to create an environment where every child can fully embrace the experience of camp.

Emily has joined the year-round team after five years of being a seasonal summer staff member. A local resident, Emily enjoys the changes of pace that the seasons bring to the Berkshires. In the colder months, she enjoys crocheting, cooking, and baking. In the warmer months, she enjoys hiking and exploring with her husband and three kids (when they aren’t at Chimney!) You can also find her reading or painting whenever she finds the time. In the workplace, she prides herself on her organization and drive for efficiency. Her favorite part about camp is making connections with so many friends from all over the world. Emily looks forward to getting to know more camp families and colleagues in her new role!
