It starts with a sketch of an idea … your gift brings it to life!
The camper, the cabin, the staff and all the behind-the-scenes planning at Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA cannot happen without YOUR GIFT to the ANNUAL FUND, CAPITAL GIVING or PLANNED GIVING.
In late 2016, Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA senior staff and Board of Trustees sketched out a three year strategic plan to advance our good programs into great programs by 2020. Great ideas and great plans require action and the resources to bring results into fruition. You can be a part of bringing our plan to life by making a gift today!
Grow the Annual Fund to $1 Million by 2020
Your gifts to the Annual Fund go to work immediately. Because of you, over 250 campers receive camperships; that is the size of one unit of campers at Chimney Corners Camp and a village at Camp Becket for two sessions! Your gifts to the Annual Fund build a new cabin at each camp, transforming fifty year old living spaces into new, and functioning areas for kids. Your gifts to the Annual Fund help meet our annual budget. If Annual Fund goals are not met, budgets are cut and tough choices are made that impact quality programming.
Raise $3,000,000 in New Capital Dollars by 2019
With your help, we will complete our new Camp Becket Dining Hall set to open the summer of 2018; the lower level of the Chimney Corners Dining Hall and repurpose the Paul Dudley White building into much needed program space. Your gift converts and rebuilds spaces so they are adequate and safe for campers and staff.
Increase the Endowment Through Planned Gifts
Your planned gift intentions to the endowment ensure that Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA will be here tomorrow so that generations to come experience our traditions and expand our reach, and change the lives of even more children.
I am excited that you are learning how your generous gifts can take a sketch of an idea and bring it to life. You can learn more here on our website and I invite you to call me at 413-822-7950 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about the programs you make possible.
