Theme Days
Hey Campers! You know those meals where your staff dresses up in ball gowns or walks around all day looking like their twin? Well, your staff is starting to put the calendar together and we would love to hear your ideas for theme days and meals. They can be repeat ones from years past that you really enjoyed or new ideas. Please email your Program Director, Emily, at eking@bccymca.org and we will put all the ideas together and plan some of them for you this summer. Please include your name and the session you are coming to camp in your email. We look forward to these fun filled days at camp this summer.

Chimney Corners Camp YMCA has been a place where girls come to make friends, learn new skills and gain independence for over 75 years. With an outstanding group of staff to guide them, campers choose from a wide variety of activities including creative and performing arts, horseback riding, boating, sailing, nature, colonial living, farm, cooking, outdoor living skills, swimming, sports, high ropes, photography, newspaper, leadership, service, and construction.

Chimney's Firefly News

Here are some examples of what the girls, staff and families have said about their experiences at CCC:

  • “I am confident and individual, independent and loyal, loyal to my friends, counselors, role models, and loyal to Chimney. That is what these people and this place have made me.” – Senior Unit Camper

  • “The summer has been incredible. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to return and give back to the camp and kids. Chimney challenged me in a way that I could never have imagined. The amount of knowledge I learned about people and my leadership style has been incredible, and thanks to you I got to experience that.” - CCC Staff Member

  • “Both my daughters developed socially and personally at Chimney Corners. They learned to take responsibility for their actions and gained so much self confidence. Lessons we pray as parents to instill in our children.” – CCC Parent
