As with many board members, for Dane, camp is a family affair. His wife Kim is a CCC alumna and former chair of the board of trustees, and his three children have all attended camp, participated in ICEP and the Aides program, and gone on to fill a variety of staff roles. Dane himself joined the board of trustees as a natural continuation of his extensive volunteer work with the camps, particularly the Becket Dads' Association executive committee. With over 25 years' experience in retail banking-including roles in finance, marketing, Strategic Planning, Sales Administration and Compensation Management-Dane volunteers on the board to ensure that the important functions of financial stewardship and risk management are tended to keep the Camps in operation for years to come. Long after his two sons have left their camper cabins, Dane still cherishes the memories of Dads' Weekends spent with his boys over their camp careers.
