It's a little known secret that Dave Phillips detested his first week as a Becket camper. Luckily, he had a serious change of heart and Becket quickly became a place he didn't want to leave. He and his sister spent multiple summers at camp, and these days, Dave's four children roam the grounds as campers, Aides and staff. Dave volunteered for the Dads' Association before following in his own father's footsteps on the board of trustees. As a board member, Dave volunteers to ensure for his children and future generations the wonderful opportunity to attend Becket and Chimney Corners. Dave is a teacher and coach at Episcopal High School, a boarding school outside of Washington, DC. His work leaves time available in the summers to enjoy Dads' Weekend and return to his favorite place on earth: the Becket library porch.
