Steve's mother and uncle attended camp in the 40s, and in the years since, increasing numbers of Harts and their relatives have flocked to Chimney Corners and Becket including Steve and later, his three children. More than 30 years after his first summer at camp, Steve can still list every one of his cabin counselors by name and without hesitation. The outstanding role models he met as a camper inspired him to take on later roles as staff and ICEP leader. Steve and his family know first hand that the values and the atmosphere the camps provide are as important as they are hard to find. The principal of Hart Associates Architects in Belmont, Massachusetts, Steve volunteers for the Board to ensure that campers for decades to come will enjoy the same powerful relationships and experiences he and his family treasure from their camp years.
